Location: Hybrid based in Oxford with an additional office in Bristol
Reporting to the COO, the HR Manager is a key role within the organisation, ensuring ongoing well-being and support to the existing team, as well as enabling the growth and evolution of the company. This role covers the full HR spectrum and comprises a healthy mix of planning, projects, and traditional tactical HR operations work. You will carry responsibility across the function but will also need to be very hands on with the administration as well.
The HR Manager will be supported day-to-day by our People and Culture Advisor who supports many of the day-to-day activities within the function.
We’re looking for someone to embrace our current approach to HR and then work with the COO to enhance it.
Strategy: working closely with the COO to help implement the business strategy from a people perspective
Business Partner; influence and build relationships with people around the business; act as a local point of people expertise for Line Managers
Talent Management: work with Line Managers to support retention and accelerated progression of those capable of excelling
Learning and Development: support learning priorities across the organisation
Data Analysis: Tracking and analysing HR data
Policies and Legal compliance: support the preparation and updating of relevant documents
4+ years’ experience in a human resources position
Proven track record in your HR career
Software company experience preferred
Personal skills and character
Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
People focused with a hands on, proactive approach to HR
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Great attention to detail
Flexible, self-motivated, discreet, and professional
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources or related business field
Ideally CIPD Level 5 or above
